Christie's opened in early December 2004, since when it has gone from strength to strength, developing and adapting to customers' needs.

Tastefully decorated throughout in sunshine yellow and warm natural wood, Christie's is a warm and inviting place in which to relax.

Bordering the light and spacious Salon area are displays of brand new books, cards and crafts, in addition to the thousands of quality used books throughout the shop.

Our range of hot drinks include English teas, French coffees and Cadbury's Hot Chocolate. From May to September we offer, in addition to the usual soft drinks and freshly squeezed orange juice, our home-made thirst-quenchers: smoothie milkshakes, traditional lemonade and iced tea.

If you would like to ensure that your favourite cake is available on a particular day, we'll be glad to accommodate your request. Just call or email us with details - please allow at least a day's notice. Christie's now offers an ordering service for home-baked cakes, based on the range normally sold in the tea room.
 

We have a quiet Internet Area set apart from the main salon, containing 4 PCs with printers, of which 3 have webcams and are Skype enabled. Secure Wifi access is available. Basic assistance can be provided for those unfamiliar with the internet - please call to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Well-behaved, canine chums are most welcome in the salon area. Please note that in the interest of our customers' comfort, Christie's has a No Smoking policy.
