EVENTS GOING ON


Annual Braderie - Saturday 5th July 2008
Gencay's annual Braderie will be taking place on Saturday 5th July 2008 in and around the town centre, including a Car Boot Sale (to book a pitch at 2 euros per metre, phone 05.49.59.47.37 Tourist Office before 26 June) from 7am to 6pm.

Christie's will be open all day from 9am and will be having a clearance sale outside the shop of 1,000 plus books (hardback and softback) from 50 cents to 1 euro.

  • A giraffe bouncy castle
     
  • A musical organ with singing accompaniment provided by Jacky Robin

Farmer's Market - Wednesday 16th July 2008

Gencay will be holding its annual Farmer's Market from 6pm. at the Champ de Foire parking area. Seating will be available to consume your purchases. Various entertainments are planned.

A table will be reserved in the tea room for those who wish to improve their French or English language.

 This is not a 'course' but an exchange of mutually beneficial conversation between individuals in a relaxed environment.
